New Nissan Teana 2.5 V6 - Any Experiences?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

any experiences about the Teana 2.5 V6? compared to Camry/Accord? Driving now the Accord 2.0 2009 and considering to change to the Teana(new Modell 2013 or 2014?) or wait for the new Accord 2013 or CRV 2012/13.

Thanks J

I am driving a 2012 Teana 205 V6, nice car.

Fuel average consumption 10l, 8 on highway driving 100km/h

Use cruise control and steering wheel music controls a lot.

Drives silently, don't hear outside noise.

I like the CVT autogear a lot, very smooth.

Very comfy seats and head rest (first car I feel good with head rest- this must be my 15th car, drove many 2l cars, never a Benz or BMW tough)

Find the wood-look-alike finition a bit cheap, but then a Lexus costs 6 million.

A few strange things: finds it odd doors don't lock automatically when you walk away with key in pocket, mirrors don't retract autom. when you cut engine (on my wife's March you can set this), you can leave your car locked with engine running

Had a spin in one a while ago.

Cvt gearbox is wicked in sports mode, floor it and it'll rev up to redline and sticks there with acceleration coming from the continious changing gear ratio.

Feels weird but very effective!

Bought the Teana 2.5 sport 3 weeks ago and its wiked, great car, comfort, speed, ride...etc many extras and Im more than happy with the service from the garage. Pm me if you would like to see it and test drive it, no problem.
