Has anyone heard of such expression of 'egg breaking' or 'yet to break a duck' in sales term. Take for example, this month I have yet to sell a unit, being in the real estate line. 'My egg have not crack' because its still 0. Anyone shed some light, thanks

It is also very often used in sport. To break an/the egg means to get a score or on the scorecard.

The Royal Institute's "Dictionary of New Words, Volume 1" agrees with GarryP:

verb. to begin to score; make points; or to score the first goal, after the competing team has already scored and has a lead . . .
