As the title says, but not the other way around.

I wish to carry on my studies on the Education Visa. However, I wish to take a break for a couple of months and then resume later.

My Non Imm 'O' is coming to it's end, so my questions are -

1) Does anybody know if I have to go to immigration first to cancel my Non Imm O?

2) Will it be hard to obtain a Tourist Visa after having a Non Imm O?

3) I've been doing my 90 day reporting on my Non Imm O, will I need to continue with this on a (double) tourist Visa (I'm going to take a break from studying for about 4 months)?

Any advice or knowledge of this, will be much appreciated, many thanks.

On what basis do have the non-o? You appear to be on extension of stay since you making 90 day are reports.

You say that you have been going to school which would indicate you should have an ED visa and extension based upon study. If your extension is for this you can just leave the country which would end the extension.

You should not have any problem getting a tourist visa.

You only have to make reports if you are in the country for more than 90 days.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I have been at a school for over a year now. However, I want to take a break for a few months (I'm piled up with other studies) go onto a tourist visa until I have enough time to put my efforts in again.
