I have a new (replacement) passport and have never had any tourist visa before. I am currently stamped into Thailand until 15th Sept 2012.

Living in Pattaya.

I would like to get a double entry Tourist Visa to keep me here for another 6 months.

Where would be the best place and easiest place to go for a double entry tourist visa?

How long would I have to stay there to get the visa?

What paperwork is required?

How much does a double entry tourist visa cost?

Would I be better off using an agency or doing it myself?

Thanks.

Six month stay will require a border run as well as two extensions of stay.

Vientiane should be a sure bet and easy to get there - if fly go to Udon.

Overnight - submit in morning and receive next workday afternoon.

Photos/passport copies/form/fee.

2xsingle entry or about 2,000 baht.

Easy to do yourself and bus/train/plane all better than an agency van.

Thanks for that info Lop :)

can I clarify the cost of the visa please?

2000 Baht each visa or for both? Seems cheap.

no processing fees?

Thanks

A tourist visa is 1,000 baht per entry. So a double entry costs 2,000 baht.

Thanks for the answers.

That is a lot less than I was expecting if I am honest which is why I wanted to double check. Seems like I might as well make a holiday of it :)
