oldsailor35
I wish to visit England to visit family and take my Thai partner with me, we also wish to visit friends in Holland and Switzerland. Are we likely to encounter any difficulties, and will we have to get visas for the two other countries after England. I have dual nationality. JohnC
Your Thai partner will need visas, if you enter UK on your British passport then no visas required for travel within the EU
7by7
Australians do not need a visa to enter the UK or the Schengen area as a visitor (up to 6 months in the UK, up to 90 days in the Schengen area) but could be questioned by immigration when entering either; so it would be simpler to use your British passport for both. Your partner will need a UK visit visa to enter the UK and a Schengen visa for the Netherlands and Switzerland. She must apply for both in her country of residence and should apply for the Schengen visa to the embassy of the country she intends to enter first.
