Think the op is more interested in learning the art than buying it. Wonder if it would pass the ED Visa requirements?

True. The glass blower is a local, and had plans for a school a few years ago. I just don't know if it ever happened.

I probably should have mentioned that part in my first post.smile.png

It may be possible to find someone to take you on and teach you some of the skills. Most likely as an apprentice for a short time where you work along side the craftsman. This would be a very good way to learn but as the place would almost certainly not be a registered school would not qualify for an Ed visa. There is a risk to take into account in this case. As it is not legally education as it is not in a registered school it is likely that it could be considered work. If someone wanted to make trouble you are the one to suffer the consequences.

I do not mean to stop you just to say investigate the risks before acting.
