Using An All-In-One To Feed Another Printer

Featured Replies

I have a Canon mp492 all-in-one. I also have a Brother laser printer. I use the Brother for all my printing and use the Canon to scan stuff to email. I also use the Canon to photocopy stuff. I'm getting a bit tired of paying for Canon ink when the Brother is much cheaper to run. Is there any way I can use the Canon scanner to scan stuff that is printed by the Brother without having to go through the intermediate stage of saving it to my PC? My PC is running W7 64 bit.

Use something like photoshop rather then the provided software to do the scan and then send it to the other printer. That program will be seeing both at the same time. I scan with an all in one lexmark with a broken printer and send it to my cannon printer.
