The Paralympic Games - London 2012 are about to commence with their Opening Ceremony in about 2 hours.

Even though it will apparently be the largest ever, the Event has gained little media attention in this country (Australia).

I missed the opening, but im sure it will be on Youtube very soon, I will say well done to all those who take part, it certainly gives a little hope to all the disadvantaged round the world,

LONDON, Sept 5 -- Thailand took a gold medal in the Mixed Team Boccia while wheelchair racer Prawat Mahoram grabbed a silver medal in the 1500m wheelchair race at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London.
