Tea Question: What's The Difference Between Cha Yen And Cha Nom?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm used to get Cha Yen drinks (Ice Tea with milk) at the nearby street vendors. Recently, I found out a sweeter version of Cha Yen called "Cha Nom". It's really tasty and not as strong as the regular Cha Yen. I've asked several folks about it, but none could tell me the difference as in ingredients that compose the so called "Cha Nom".

Have you ever try it and do you know what's in it?

Blueboy the sweet cordial liqueur(different flavors) is normally added to "cha num yen" especially if from a vendor on the street, but if you know what you want and how to order it is up to you!

I think both have milk, but Cha yen is made using tinned sweetened milk

Cha Nom has carnation (or copy carnation) in it.
