My girlfriend has lost her TB certificate , can she get a replacement ? She went and left it in a taxi of all places .

She got it from the IOM in Bangkok for a UK fiancee visa.

The visa has been applied for , we are just waiting to see if it was successful.

The problem being , she needs to take this certificate with her when she comes to the UK.

Can she get a replacement or does she have to sit the test again to get another certificate ?

She's very upset.

Is she sure she left it in a taxi?

How could she have submitted her visa application without also submitting the TB certificate?

As far as I'm aware, if she didn't submit the certificate with the application then the application will be refused.

Although it is a good idea to carry the TB certificate in one's hand baggage, it is not a requirement for entry to the UK once the visa has been issued.
