I am thinking of swapping my Toyota 2 L (in a Mighty X) for Japanese import 2L II Turbo and am a bit concerned about the weight difference etc.

The garage says everything will fit in OK but has anybody done it, any problems with weight, cooling etc. please?

Hi,

I've had friends do engine swops, they've never had cooling probs.

The only things i would advise is, if the power & torque increase is significant, then a brake & suspension upgrade would be a good idea, to cope with the higher cornering speeds & also more braking power.
