You seem to totally misunderstand the issues here. 1) You're apparently unaware that Thailand already has a large indigenous Muslim population. 2) The issue wasn't whether or not Thailand would grant them residency -- they wouldn't -- but to send them to a country that would accept them -- several offered. 3) Thailand has signed international agreements that prevent this -- it's called "refoulement." Stupid word but there it is. 4) The larger question of malign Chinese influence hangs over this -- Thailand has tons of refugees from all over the world (e.g. lots of Pakistani Christians, Burmese) but why are these few Uighurs suddenly a problem? 5) You parrot Russian/Chinese propaganda on your human rights comment.
Especially if you don’t have medical insurance or any welfare provisions for old age.
I believe many Americans have absolutely no idea how poorly they are being served by their healthcare and welfare laws and policies.
