PATTAYA:--Two Turkish nationals accused of bank card fraud have been arrested by Pattaya Police.

Police Colonel Tamanoon, the Pattaya Police Chief announced the arrest of Mr. Orhan Bel aged 33 and Mr. Ercan Saruhan aged 27 at a Siam Commercial Bank ATM in Central Pattaya. Bank staff alerted the Police that the foreign men were active in the area and had already managed to withdraw at least 50,000 Baht in cash.

As soon as one of the fake cards were used again the Police were called and rushed to the Central Pattaya location and arrested the two men. They both arrived in Thailand on 8th September with 6 cards containing bank account details previously collected in call center scam operations. Further investigations revealed that the two men had withdrawn over 1 Million Baht in cash during their stay.

The pair were told to keep 30% of the money for themselves and the remaining 70% was transferred to an accomplice in Turkey.

Short Time Turkish Millionaires

PATTAYA:--Pattaya: Othan Bell and Ercan Sarohun were millionaires for a short time this week, until police relieved them of their cash

Armed with a stash of credit cards, the two men stepped of their plane from Turkey on the 8th of this month, determined to “get rich quick”. The fact that the credit cards they were carrying were either forgeries was of no importance to them at all.

The cards were loaded with genuine information, gleaned from scam operations which had tricked genuine card holders into giving up their card details.

The details were then transferred onto fake cards, and the duo were set to become millionaires.

Pattaya banks were hit quickly, as the Turkish tandem withdrew money from bank after bank , discarding the wasted cards in their wake and totaling , police believe, over a million baht

Banks were quickly notified and keen security spotted the duo at a central city location, as they processed yet another fake card. Police were called and quickly on the scene and they were arrested, along with 6 of the forged cards.

During questioning, the two are said to have admitted their crimes and the fact that they were to keep 30%, returning the rest to the card supplier back in Turkey.

there are 4 million Turks living in Germany and another 5.4 million living in the EU besides those in Germany. Turkey's population in 2011 was 73.6 million, add 9.4 and you land up with 83 million.

that does of course not change the fact that your comment "theives [sic!] and robbers the lot of them" is nothing but rubbish² dry.png
