Traffic Yesterday Vibravadi Rangsit To Lad Prao Rd

Does anyone know what tied up traffic yesterday evening from Vibravadi Rangsit Rd (off Don Mueng expressway exit to the Lat Prao Rd turn off (near Central Lad Prao-Union Mall?

Usually it takes 45 minutes to go from Rangsit to home. Yesterday took over 3 hours...we went 6 meters in one hour on the curve by Central Lad Prao(that's about all i could understand from the taxi driver-he couldn't tell me why). It was barely sprinkling so rain was not a factor. The taxi radio kept mentioning Din Daeng, Ramkamheng , Lad Prao but i couldn't understand more.
