September 21, 201213 yr I am in a situation where a flatmate (couple) walked out without paying significant rent and left wardrobes full of clothes, suits, bags, belts etc and the majority are designer jeans and jackets etc. Wanting to recoup the rent, I'd like to sell them to a 2nd hand store if possible. Any suggestions?
September 21, 201213 yr Look in any Thai market on a Sunday. Stalls everywhere selling stuff like that. If you dont want to set up a stall perhaps one of the others will buy the lot from you but you wont get much either way. Could always try Ebay though at least you'll get a better return. Just a suggestion. Don’t miss the latest headlines from Thailand and around the world. Get the Asean Now Briefing newsletter, delivered daily. Sign up here.
September 21, 201213 yr If the OP is in Chiang Mai, he could get a table at the JJ Market Christmas Shopping Fair. There will be a large section of second-hand goods; good clothing is especially popular with the Thai people who have come to this fair in the past when it was called the City Life Garden Party and held on the grounds of City Life magazine. This is a fair to benefit the charities of the Royal British Legion and Lanna Care Net. They raise their funds at this fair thru auctions, raffles, games and the sale of water, soft drinks and beer to the crowd. Here are details: http://www.lannacarenet.org/christmas-shopping-fair/
