Would anyone be kind enough to suggest a teacher capable teaching spoken and written Lao in Bangkok? Please do not mention Somchai the somtam seller or Noi and Lek from Soi Nana. I am interested in a capabale dedicated teacher, not too expensive, who will hopefully be willing to accept some English tuition in exchange.

Some years ago AUA had a course in Isan. You might check there (at AUA) for a teacher/tutor.

I'm looking for a competent translator of Lao laws and regulations. My former translator who worked at the Lao embassy has returned to Vientienne. Maybe you can share some leads with me.
