EU citizen married to a Thai national living in Thailand for 5 years married 3+ years, I go to the US on business 2-3 times a year and I want my wife to experience LA or LV.

My wife never went outside SE Asia, is it a lost cause to get her a visa for a 7-10 day trip?

I get my visa on arrival based on tourism or business when I arrive in the US but I want to show my wife other parts of the world.

My initial thoughts are it would be impossible for her to get a visa to come with me but just in case if anyone have any past experiences I would love the input. I can provide docs, from the company I work for and the company hosting the trade show.

It would not be impossible. She has the same possibility as any other Thai national applying for a visa to travel to the USA.

I understand that one of the principal requirements for a USA visa application for tourism is the demonstration of compelling reasons for the applicant to return to Thailand. In your wife's case, this will obviously be the reason to continue to live with her husband in Thailand, who lives in Thailand presumably on an annual extension of stay for the reason of living with his Thai wife and who is employed in Thailand, by a company he owns. It will do no harm to indicate that her husband travelled to the USA in the past and always left that country prior to the expiration of his permission to stay, and for her husband to confirm that he will continue to reside with his wife in Thailand, ie that has no intention to remain in the USA with his wife in violation of their visa status. Enclose copy of the husband's company registration and his passport details.

Helpful suggestions for the visa application by other members are welcome.

I'd think this would be about 100% chance of success for a U.S. tourist visa, given that she'd be travelling with you, and the presumption would be that since you're going to return to Thailand, she would, too.

You should add a short cover note to her application when she goes for interview stating such. And she should be sure to have YOUR passport in hand to show to the interviewing ConOff. Be sure to flag the page(s) in the passport that show your status here, eg, Non-B visa extension, etc. If you have a Work Permit, she should take that along also.
