Cambodia Building Site Foreman murdered in Sattahip

SATTAHIP:--Early on Wednesday Morning, close to the train track in Bang Phra sub-district in Sattahip, the body of a Cambodian construction worker was found. His neck had been cut and other knife wounds were found on his body.

The body was found by Khun Jamnien, who is a work colleague of the deceased man. He had just finished work at a nearby construction site and spotted the body on the road. The deceased man, Mr. Diaew aged 35, was the foreman of the site and was seen to leave at around 1am on his motorbike.

He was carrying a bag containing a Laptop Computer. Police suspect he was ambushed as evidence of at least one other person was found in bushes close to the road. The evidence included a freshly opened can of beer and broken branches. The laptop was nowhere to be found and is presumed stolen.
