October 7, 201213 yr We have a car (1996 Nissan) and drive down from Bangkok towards Had Yai 5 times a year (approx 900km each way) and are considering a change as it is getting old, and the other vehicles en route tend to be nearly twice our size and I would prefer something a little more solid with a few more safety features (namely airbags). Ideal budget approx 300,000 baht but could go higher (have seen a volvo for 500,000 and could stretch to that but it just seems a little pricey for a 10 year old car), so can anyone suggest a decent vehicle that would meet our needs, its just i am not too familiar as to what is in the market and which vehicles are well built. Thanks PS Safety is the key word, not neccesarily style
October 7, 201213 yr My in-laws have a volvo V40 2.0T from 2001 for sale. It's for sale for around 420.000 THB. If you are interested, I will let you know the details in PM. They also have a Toyota Camry 2.4Q from 2006 for sale. They are asking around 700.000 THB.
October 7, 201213 yr Old Volvo or BMW most likely with a Toyota engine or pick up for that money. If you want large. Or a new eco/city/budget car maybe with the 100k discount.
