naboo
Anyone have any obvious objections to Jasmine?
mjj
Not everyone's cup of tea, but my son has neither a normal Western or Thai name. This is the second thread I've replied to today where I feel the need to ask, why do you need to categorise? Is it a nice name should be the only question asked, regardless if its Thai, British or from Timbuktu. To the above, I like the name Jasmine. :-) Edited February 6, 2013 by mjj
krisb
We picked Raya and Jade as her middle name. Both nice and bubs is gorgeous! Happy happy!!
krisb
Raya. I'm told it means 'beautiful adornment or precious jewel' (lit: a brooch, pendant or necklace). The stress is on the second syllable: Rai-Yaa. Thanks to Simon for helping us pick our bubs name! Beautiful name and a beautiful baby. Thanks Simon! Blackandwhite
We had the same problem agreeing a name for our daughter, we went for Iysha.
brewsterbudgen
Why not choose a name that is both English AND Thai? Joy. I agree, Joy works well as does Jasmine.
