That's true. In the sub-forum for news you can see posters writing RIP every time a farang is killed in Thailand. I think there is something with this. It's phony.

And there are posters who don't live in Thailand but argue with those who do, and then become abusive.

There are also posters who seem very jealous of men with educated, Thai-Chinese spouses (I saw this yesterday).

I've seen all of these traits on this sub-forum (General) and in the news sub-forum.

Jealous may not be the right word. Laughing may be the word. biggrin.png

No, it's definitely envy. I saw it yesterday on another thread on this sub-forum. The average westerner here marries a barmaid or waitress or shop assistant or "massage girl". These men are very jealous of other foreigners who've done better for themselves.

If I could remember the name of the thread I looked at yesterday, I'd link to it.

My wife is well educated. There are some doubts though, that I 'did better for myself'

'Yusoud' (like in you should ) is becoming my nickname. biggrin.png

Has it been done yet ?

''My wife is more Chinese than Thai'' Brigade. smile.png

Yep, don't forget the " i met her in Chula University " brigade

I really don't understand when folks go on about the spouses being virtuous and upstanding as in the 'she goes to chula and is studying medicine' brigade...

why would anyone come halfway around the world to SE Asia and try to find someone bourgeois and boring and in college when there are in yer face whores that are pleasing and nasty and don't need to be associated with any brigade at all?

I have queried the wife and she then has nuzzled against me and said: 'well, we all agree that falangs are crazy...and their diet raises loads of questions...'

The "This thread has been closed weeks ago and members still thinking they can contribute live in the Twilight Zone" Brigade.

The, how did you manage to mess up a simple sentence that you then needed to use the edit function brigade.

The "I forgot that I'm not supposed to be proud of marrying a former hooker" brigade.

The grumpy brigade I'd accept

The sleepy brigade probably

The sneezy brigade who knows/

The dopey brigade definitely

The bashful company could be

The happy platoon optimistic over-estimate

The general forum brigade I'm afraid mate. Treat 'em with the contempt they deserve.

The only brigade that I heard of is ..."The charge of the light headed brigade"

It seems appropriate here.

The "I forgot that I'm not supposed to be proud of marrying a former hooker" brigade.

-

The "take my ethics-morality system unquestioned from mainstream-culture religion-based brainwashing" brigade.
