I'm all for respecting the right of people to do what they please so long as they're not hurting anybody but I think it's a little nauseating to assert that it's offensive to express horror at the abuse of women and children by a 'great' Abrahamic religion. I don't really think; I KNOW we all know the Truth. I think we need to stop letting offensive people be the first offenders when someone speaks Truth and they don't like it.

I don't know how much Buddhism has to do in terms of being responsible for the above but it's possible in a Buddhist society. Look at those smiles. They're not faking happy, I don't think.

Look at these smiles.

I respect the fact that I don't have the "Right" to do anything and I understand that this is a complex world and I sure as hell know I know nothing or at least, I'm not Certain of anything anymore, but I think if history pans out and shows that women should be exploited and should be reduced and should be made victims of our tolerance, then I can only speak for myself but say "So what? Let's gamble on intolerance of Evil!"

Like Nuttawat during the Red Shirt riots, I'm happy to take all of the responsibility if it turns out that the top picture offended the gods and that women and children were supposed to be treated like the bottom pic. You can put the blame on me!
