PM will reveal his government's achievements during his five years in office.

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinnawat will reveal his achievements during five years in office on February 9.

Thai Rak Thai party executive, Suranand Vejjajiva (สุรนันทน์ เวชชาชีวะ) said that the prime minister will announce the government’s achievements during the past five years on February 9. He said that the government’s accomplishments can be seen from the growing economy and solutions to social problems and the efforts to improve the people’s quality of life. He said that the government will continue solving the people’s problems during the remaining three years.

Mr. Suranand commented on the Democrat Party leader’s criticism of the Prime Minister’s mentioning the 19 million votes he has received that the Democrat Party leader should respect the decisions of the people voting for Thai Rak Thai Party. He expressed belief that the Prime Minister mentioned the number of votes because he wants the Democrat Party leader to understand and respect the rules under the democratic system.

Indeed, those "achievements" need to be revealed... because they are virtual.

I love the poetry of the thai "journalists" (or translators who knows....).

I gather DL was permitted, having ticked the wrong box on his SET-return for the Shin-Corp tax-free sale, to go back and 'correct' the form.

Hence the news-readers joke last week, that many of the 19 million who voted TRT felt that they had also ticked the wrong box, and now wished to similarly be able to go back and correct their mistake ! :o
