Canadian Kills Thai Rival In Deadly Love Triangle

Recommended Posts

As someone mentioned in a previous post the Thai lawyer was banging the foreigner's live-in Thai girlfriend in his house....but still no reason to take another man's life. If this had happened to me I would have thrown them both out of the house - with a harsh warning - and then proceeded to get blind drunk myself until at least the following morning or the day after or whenever my emotions had subsided. But - I guess - it's easy to offer up advice when you're not emotionally involved yourself.

"A 42-year-old Canadian engineer stabbed a 59-year-old Thai lawyer 50 times"

So much for "mild mannered" Canadians.

I feel sorry for the lad...seems like emotions got the best (worst?) of him.

"Back where I am from I was taught that a person is responsible for their own actions and actions have consequences. Of course I'm an old fart from the old school and that is not popular in today's culture. It's always someone elses fault no mater what. Total BS. The Thai guy ultimately answered for his own actions which proves my point. I have no sypathy for this guy or the gf. It's just too bad the gf will not have to pay for her actions. But TIT. "

Please explain "TIT"

Ok if you insist. TIT. The woman will walk free when she was the one responsible for the entire episode by letting the lawyer come to the house for some love you long time, time. She could have simply said no to him and explained she had a foreigner bf or husband as the case may be. But now she will walk with the house and none of her friends will look down on her for this. As a matter of fact they will probably tell her how good she did by getting the house but feel sorry for her because she lost her sugar daddy.

Of course she will walk free. Every single civilized country in the world she would walk free. Only in hellholes like Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia would something happen to her. If you find that kind of barbaric 8th century 'justice' acceptable you should move back. They hang gays and transexuals there too which I remember you don't like much either.

Interesting response. The walking free part of my post was not intended to mean she should be prosecuted for having a guy on the side. I should have gone into more detailed explaination for the simple minded. My apologies. She will walk free as far as her friends and peers are concerned. There will be no shame or loosing face on her part. She will probably be elevated in the "gang of girls" so to speak.

As for the gay and transsexual remark I think it is a little off subject as I don't see anything in the OP saying any of these people were in this category. But since you brought it up my friend. Again you have chosen to rearrange and misquote what I have previously posted on this subject. FYI my barber is a flaming gay fellow and one of my best friends. We have an understanding as I said in a previous post. He does his thing and I do mine and we get along fine. I just happen to think they are a sick lot but to each his/her own.

Edited to correct spelling. Remember I'm from Kentucky.

"I wonder if the girl will now try to lay claim to the house."

I don't wonder at all. 100% sure she will." lay down with dogs, you get fleas" No matter what you give many women here, it is not enough. Never enough. Never take their "promises" seriously. This is a sociopathic encouraging culture. One night with most is too long.

I sent my now ex wife to Chula to get her masters in social psychology. She is now like very educated bar girl, except with bar girls you have more of an inkling of what you are getting. If they gave oscars for lies, cheats, manipulations she would be like Meryl Streep. I pity those who meet her.

Don't forget that in places like UK 6 months of cohabitation and your partner is your defacto wife like it or not with all kinds of legal rights. Divorce rates are over 50% in many Western countries so there are plenty of undesirable woman back home too You may have had a hard time with your ex but of course you won't comment on how your treated her. One obvious question in this sad case is I wonder if they have kids and what about their fatherless future? I also can't help but think that some of the rage displayed in stabbing the guy 50 times might be related to the fact that his wife was going to a guy almost 20 years older for her bit on the side. The problem with trial by TV forum is that lots of people judge by thinking that their own sad experiences give them the knowledge to make judgement on others by applying lame oversimplistic generalisations to events.Based on the limited facts available my only real comment about this is that I hope the guy gets the sentence he deserves and that the dead guy didn't have a wife and kids.

Well no one shoud be killed over something like this as it is a quite common occurance in the LOS but if anyone had to get diciplined the wrong person got it. Can't blame the Thai guy in my opinion. I feel sorry for the Canadian guy that he let his emotions get the best of him but i certainly understand.

Doh! Clicked "Like" without reading carefully...can I unlike?

It's ok SteeleJoe we understand. I accept your unlike.

I'm hoping i never accidentally get friendly with ANYONE who has so much unexpressed anger in them that they are capable of stabbing ANYONE fifty times, whatever the provocation.

Do you have a TG or TW? Be careful...

If I may suggest a practical low stress, low maintenance solution to avoid incidents like this.

Love hurts...

RIP to the victim... Anger management therapy to the Canadian... Thought Canadians were supposed to be "gentle people", leaving their front doors unlocked and all?

Wonder if the story wouldn't have had more "life teaches us lessons" potential, if the Canadian would better have stabbed the cheating girlfriend and then ask that lawyer guy to defend his case, like a male bonding kinda thing... whistling.gif

I bet lots more to the story plus I believe the Canadian will only get a hard hand slap as his should. Maybe a few months or couple of years in jail, maybe nothing.

Lets hope he gets nothing but deported

ThaiRath says she told the Thai lawyer she had no BF or husband and the same to the Canadian. When he walked in the Thai guy got angry started hitting her.

She then screamed that she did not know him ( the lawyer) and he was attacking her.

The Canadian went feet first to defend his girlfriend............something he may regret for the rest of his life.

After 7 1/2 years with my ex, the month she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in English Communications from the International College at Payap CM - she cheated on me.. 7 1/2 years, 5 million baht later and she still complains she left our relationship with nothing....... Emdog is right. Don't bank on anything more than today! Not only used as an ATM, but still unthankful after she went from a situation with both parents in jail and barely enough for a a plate of rice a day to being on 60k a month at a my friends company... f8kem.

HINDSIGHT they say has 20/20 vision...Its hard to know what anyone would do in situations like this..

Killing with all our hi intellect is no match for explosive emoitons. We read this every day in the newspapers, and hear

on the over the radio, or watch it on the t.v. news.

It has become part of our daily lives. There is no easy answer because everyone's psychological make up is different.coffee1.gif

Meanwhile, Ms. Patcharaporn was studying for a master’s degree at Ramkhamhaeng University, where she became acquainted with the Thai lawyer.

Where does this leave all of those members who bang on and on about having girls with Master's degrees being so much better than those evil bar girls....?

The moment you trust, you leave yourself wide open!

There NO SHAME in a pre-nuptial agreement, period. We hear about the cases in which the gal cheated on the guy here. It is not statistically accurate to use examples here to generalize. We all know there married guys that have fun on the side as well.

Don't know but for the price of those dolls they should include batteries and plug in recharger (no pun intended)

A thai-lawyer-home-wrecker? What is the saying, killing two birds with one stone? Ex did that to me, luckily she was far removed in another country..the same fate would of been met with her and her buy-a-bride husband. Oh, he shouldn't of killed him..could of been her as well. Who knows how many times this happened before this incident, to this Canadian fellow. Only so much one can take.

What a tragedy, your life now turned upside down over jealousy, a fit of rage at the spur of the moment, the rest of your life in a Thai prison and for what?? A wife that was unfaithful and you killed because of that...Now she has your house ,the car and probably access to your Bank Account and the bonus of course...a new boyfriend to move in with her...C'est la vie..

as the OP states and has been restated it was his girlfriend not his wife, so how would she as his girlfriend get all his assets.

Oh boy. It must of been a really lousy business trip. I think he will end up getting off on temporary insanity as long as the deceased is not connected. It would have been better if the guy was naked though. I don't know the laws in Thailand about common law marriages, but in some of the United States, you can kill a guy for taking your wife... Or your horse.

And the originals are here....https://www.realdoll.com/.....
