tebee Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I'm looking at options to ship my large English Mastiff to Thailand. Problem is he is 67kg so with a pet carrier he is going to be in the region of 90kg. I'm told it far better to ship as excess baggage than cargo, but I can't find an airline who will let me take that much excess baggage - Emirates wanted 5000 euros for it and Air France just said it was too much . Any suggestions as to ho to do this ? I'll be flying from Paris ( CDG) Tom

JusticeFT96 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Via cargo its not the weight of the dog and cage its the volume weight that is calculated on the size of the container its shipped in.
