Having read of the dilemma facing some members in meeting the new financial requirement, I was minded to create an e-petition on these changes.

However, on checking the e-petition website I found that there were already two up and running.

As 100,000 signatures are needed before becoming eligible for debate in the House of Commons, I did not want to dilute the response by starting a third.

I have to say that one of the petitions is poorly worded, but the other puts the case in a clear and concise manner.

Allow immigration of non EU spouses.

I strongly urge all those eligible to sign it.

To be eligible you have to be a UK resident or a British citizen; so Brits living in Thailand can sign.
