PATTAYA: -- Syrian Tourist Robs Disc Girls in Pattaya Nightclub

Police were called to the Lima Lima Nightclub in Pattaya’s famous walking street, after a Syrian visitor to the city was reported as stealing from Russian girls who left their handbags in the nightclub area, as they went to the restrooms.

It was a waiter in the club who is reported seeing the Syrian man open the unattended purses that the girls left behind in the club area. He had watched as they left them on their table and headed for the restrooms.

The two women returned to their table and the waiter, 22 year old Mr.Pollakrit Koonta, made them aware of what he had seen and asked them if the man was with their group of friends in the club.

Once it was clear that the men had nothing to do with the girls, the Club Security took over and as Police were called they traced the man leaving the club.

As police made their way to the club, so diligent security men who work for the club, prevented the two men from making an exit on their motorbike.

why do white girls (russian) even go to pattaya ?

November in Russia isn't particularly warm.

Unlike Scandinavians, Russians can't travel to a lot of other countries easily.

Thailand is one of the few cheap foreign tourist destinations where they don't need a visa in advance.

With the large number of Russian tourists, you can see a lot of signs in Russian around Pattaya nowadays, which will probably mean more Russian tourists over time.

It is amazing when the alcohol takes over, and you use the restroom with your purses left at the table. If girls always go to the restroom together, as they do, for security, it sure wasn''t secure this time. Again, Kidos to the security staff for doing their job, and doing it well.

Syrian ? Another 'quality' tourists I guess. Amazed at how many Muslims (okay he could be Christian) now see Pattaya as a great tourist destination.. Why don't they visit Brunei or Saudi or a place more in keeping with their beliefs. Not just Muslims but a whole raft of other third world/former soviet backwater types and Africans who only seem to be here to commit atm/credit card fraud, drug dealing, robbery or some other scam.. Was a lot simple when it was just average white joe sex tourist.. At least then it was only the Thais doing the scams

Syrian accused of stealing IPhone from Russian inside South Pattaya Disco

PATTAYA:--Thanks to an alert Security Guard, the attempted theft of a Russian’s IPhone 4S at a Discotheque in South Pattaya by a Syrian man was prevented.

Police were called to the front of the Bali Hai Plaza close to the Southern entrance to Walking Street just after 4am where Guards had detained two Syrian men. One of them was released without charge but the other, named as Mr. Nour Aljirudi aged 23, was accused of stealing an IPhone 4S from a red handbag belonging to Miss Katerina Maximova aged 20 who went to the Lima Lima Club for a night out with her Russian Friend.

During the evening the pair went to the toilet but inadvertently left Miss Maximova’s handbag on a table. A Security Guard was close-by and allegedly saw Mr. Aljirudi take the IPhone from the bag. He was then seen to leave the club and after smoking a cigarette with his Syrian friend outside of the club, he went to his parked motorbike and the guard claimed he saw him place the IPhone in the seat compartment of the bike. Before they could leave, they were detained pending the arrival of Police.
