Press Conference Mr. Obama - Miss Shinawatra

By, chance I heard the Press Conference shown in English only without translation at Channel 7 in which Obama and Yingluck made statements first.

Than as soon as the first question had been called, a Thai commentator seemed to summon up the statements in a minute? making it impossible to understand the question made from somebody of the Thai press? and also drowned the first sentences of Yinglucks answer and than,

the Live Coverage stopped!

A soap opera was shown!

I checked all other Mass TV channels, 3. 5 and so on and nowhere was that Press Conference shown!

I had to change to CNN to hear and see that event Live.

I realized only one thing clearly, Obama always spoke of -Burma- and Yingluck always spoke of -Myanmar-

But please, why did no Thai TV channel show such a Press Conference LIVE? When it is important enough, that CNN did show it!

Fear what will be spoken, from Thai TV, from the Thai politicians, Yingluck? Just ignorance?

How often come US Presidents to TH? Not important enough, -soap operas- more important?

Do not understand that!
