January 10, 201313 yr Author Here is one in the General Forum that might interest you. There is no trolling ... but some heavy hitting by the usual subjects however ... It's an interesting subject, the nature of which might appeal. It's about going 'all in' in Thailand. A quote from the opening OP ...
"I'm intrigued by the amount of people who have went "all in" in Thailand. They have poured all of their wealth and resources into the country, and they have made the commitment to live there for the rest of their lives."
Going 'All In' can be found here. .

March 5, 201313 yr For those who have some interesting stories about life in the Village ... the-quirky-side-of-village-life Maybe one of Jim's last posts before he was lost to us. . Thanks again Dave......you are truly the Master of research. I like this thread, and never would've found it without your help. Just curious about Jim....have always liked his comments......is there a section available where we can find out the wherefores and why's someone departs our forum? Or is that part of the the unmentionable section. Cheers.
March 5, 201313 yr Author Thanks again Dave......you are truly the Master of research. . I like this thread, and never would've found it without your help. Just curious about Jim....have always liked his comments......is there a section available where we can find out the wherefores and why's someone departs our forum? Or is that part of the the unmentionable section. Cheers. Mate ... I really don't research things much. But, like a magnet, some things are drawn to me. Part of my old job description was to write politician's speeches ... so I learnt quickly to sort the wheat from the chaff ... As for the other part of your question. There is no collective area and the question has been asked before in the Forum support section. I share your sentiments re Jim ... hence taking the risk to mention it. There is a recently locked thread where-is-jim where the issue is discussed. Sadly, that is where the commentary stops and, for the sake of this thread becoming collateral damage, best not to mention it further here. But, if I could encapsulate your, mine and many other readers here ... he will be sadly missed by all ... .
