During his three-day visit to Burma, New Zealand Prime Minister John Key announced his country would provide a US $5.7 million aid package to the country, Bernama reported. Agra-net.com wrote that Key had also revealed plans to create a model dairy farm in Burma over the next five years. Burmese President Thein Sein is expected to visit New Zealand possibly before Christmas to announce the $4.8 million deal, according to Key, who wrapped up his visit on Friday. New Zealand also plans to set a diplomatic mission in Burma next year.
