Jayman
They wanted 8900 to replace the mb. The 3000 (they quote 3500) is just to repair the old mb if possible. They replaced a few more components on the mb, we left it on and testing together for an hour to make sure no more smoke or stuff getting hot and I'm happy to say my laptop is back home with me. All in all, other than having to make 3 trips to tukom, I'm happy with how things turned out.
prk888
i too had a laptop screen problem. Pattaya2U. Took me 3 return trips to get it evntually sorted and also cost B4000. Few weeks later via Skype I discovered webcam wasn't working. Clearly the same several screen removals problem. Said motherboard wasnt powerful enough and quoted another B3000. Didnt go for that. A sour taste sadly
