The Indian military’s Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal N.A. K. Browne, is in Burma as part of a four-day defense cooperation visit that began on Monday, Asia News International reported. He leads a five-member defense delegation and plans to meet with President Thein Sein and the Burmese military’s Commander-in-Chief Vice-Snr-Gen Min Aung Hlaing and air force chief Lt-Gen Myat Hei, in order to discuss reinforcing defense ties between India and Burma.
