Tonight will be a night of parties around lakes, rivers and beaches as people from every walk of life take part in Loy Krathong Loi Krathong is always celebrated on the night of the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Lunar calendar of Thailand Loi literally means ‘to float,’ while krathong is the the lotus-shaped boat which is floated on the rivers, lakes and oceans around the kingdom. smedly Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 I think we'll all be floating down Pattaya Klang if this rain continues 1
bartender100 Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Dark, overcast and raining all over, as of 2:30pm
petercool Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Pattaya city may be looking forward to it but anyone living close to Mabprachan reservoir will have to deal with bumper to bumper traffic and a bit of chaos for a few hours .... 1
Langsuan Man Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Just another excuse for the city to get more money from the same vendors that sell the same junk by blocking the foot paths on Beach road, not to mention another excuse to cut down some more shade trees at the non working fountain
