Jaguar Land Rover’s partner for Asia is preparing to enter into Burma, with the carmaker in discussions with three local dealership partners and official sales scheduled to begin next year, Reuters reports. Hundreds of Land Rover luxury sports utility vehicles have already been imported to Burma this year as the country opens up. Guava International operates Jaguar Land Rover sales and services in Europe, Asia and Africa. It has seen strong growth in Southeast Asia, particularly in Thailand, and strong sales in Vietnam as well. Jaguar Land Rover is owned by India’s Tata Motors Ltd.
