It flickered off for a couple of seconds..about 15 mins ago, . loading pages here is very slow .... and no phone .... obviously a problem somewhere....

It's looking increasingly likely that this'll be an all nighter & it'll be naive to think it won't be all day tomorrow too. The only saving grace is that it isn't particularly warm at the moment.

I recall several cuts of 12-18hrs duration but cannot recall ever enduring an overnighter before.

Electricity is back in Lamai since 20 minutes.

Is it all over Samui, KPG, Koh Tao?

Imagine all the fuel used now for thousands of generators, all the food eaten now from the fridges not to be thrown away, all the food which will be thrown away, all the food which will be bought afterwards......

For sure a huge damage. That nobody will go to pay...
