I've been drinking for 46yrs. and smoking for longer than that. Had a physical exam last month and everything was ok. Of course, I told the doctor I didn't drink or smoke otherwise it would have surely been another story.

When I drank 15 years ago, typically I'd have a half bottle of Sang Thip 'whisky' when I came to in the morning about 4 am. I start the proper drinking at around 7am with a large bottle of Sang Thip but I wouldn't start on the Chang until about 6pm, along with another half Sang Thip.

God, I hate Sang Thip I wonder if they still make it?

FACT....had a heart attack at 55yrs followed by tripple bypass....had the occasional beer or two(PRIOR), but not frequently. gave up smoking for 5 yrs PRIOR

11days in ICU taught me a lot....now enjoy a drink and cigarette whenever i feel like it, and the last checkup with the specialist....IMPROVED!!!!

And all i did was have a drink and a feeeeeew smokes..... When your dead your dead.......ENJOY what makes you happy. we arent here that long.

Stress brings on drinking habits, and as i have mowed the lawn today....I am stressed....so I intend to enjoy the bottle in front of me.

I'm not a drunk (mainly because I can't handle the hangovers these days) but I like going out socially before a beer, but never drink before 5-6pm.

Just thought it would be a fun thread, as proved.
