A bit confused now. Rented Avanza 1.5s a/t in Pop before (not sure, which year), and now - tried this one (1.5e a/t 2008). So - looks like 1.5e don't have power steering - tell me, is it true. Also the steering wheel height isn't ajustable. What other differences between 1.5e and 1.5s? Can't find it at the Toyota site - they have new editions explanation only.

I can second, from personal experience, the suggestion that expatautocm is fair and square. (No relationship except getting a car inspected and buying one there.) Check out their site for some idea. I see that they've Avanza's for sale right now, but they're too old, I think, for your needs.

Still, don't obsess on one vehicle when there are a world of cars here. However you do it, get it inspected, as some folks hereabouts are not fanatics about keeping ahead of repairs.
