The driver of the car noticed that a fire had started and leapt from the vehicle minutes before it burst into flames. He begged local residents to help him douse the flames but, wisely, they chose to keep a safe distance from the burning vehicle. Firefighters, who arrived quickly at the scene, bravely doused the flames as they too were wary of the dangers involved in liquid LPG systems when they overheat. Following the firefighter’s arrival a second, major, explosion occured, during which pieces of the vehicle were strewn over a 50 metre diameter and the roof was completely destroyed. BlackPuddingBertha
I've never really trusted these gas tanks, especially the ones fitted by third parties, and I'm happy I went with diesel. Unlike petrol and LPG, diesel will not ignite at normal temperature and pressure.
