NIGHT and LATE NIGHT ONLY! Opens 6 pm Closes 6 am What can I say? This is a new specialty to me. Boiled, Fried, "Half Fried" (sunny side up?), Mixed in a "crush" I did some research on the menu from their Hicksville NY location which has a lot more dishes than just egg dishes. But the Pattaya location is the real deal, the real core of their brand. Eggs, eggs, and more eggs. It's got a real foodie following in India, USA, and Dubai so I consider that we're very lucky to have it here. Prices between 90 and 200. I assume the dishes that aren't rice based come with buttered buns. If you want more buttered buns, you can order extra. JT, how is the "hygiene" in these kind of places on Pattaya soi 16? I know this can be raised for any place in Pattaya of course, but let's stick to these areas around/near walking street. I have seen numerous reviews where it is quoted as too expensive and the staff too aloof. Two of us go there and get a really good beef fondue and a bottle of the promotion Red Wine and walk away with change from 2000 Baht. I know a Fondue is soooo 70's but once in a while with the right partner its a fun night out. Salad Bar, Soup and Garlic Bread included in the price. I also know loads of people don't like Thai Beef but if you are going to deep fry it in hot oil then smother in the lovely home-made sauces then is OK by me. ahh...the famous "fondue bourguignone"!! Spaniel
The Pizza Place, View Talay 2 A, ground floor, Jomtien. Recently opened (about a month ago). Wife and I were in Pattaya about a week ago and one rainy night we didn't feel like going out to eat so ordered a pizza from the newly opened Pizza Place, which they delivered to our condo but I don't think they have delivery service other then in the building. They offer 14 pizza selections, lasangna, caesar salad and a tart of the day, Prices range from B200 to B 300. The pizza was excellent and well enough for two. In addition to carry out they have four or five tables in the restaurant. Edited August 7, 2017 by Spaniel Add info.

Far better than the pizza I tried from the other new place in the 'hood on Thappraya Road in the old Jomtien Properties location next to the defunct cabaret show place. That said, pizzas seem to stir some deep emotions in folks as to what is a "good" pizza, so YMMV. As you exit the VT2A parking lot, The Pizza Place has a green and red tuk-tuk (a real sam-lor, not a Russian-monikered baht bus) with their name on it, so I suspect they deliver elsewhere than just in that building. I think that tuk-tuk isn't in operating condition and is used only as a advertising prop. I know it was serving the same purpose when the German restaurant was there before the Pizza Place opened, Take a closer look next time you come by for a pizza. elzach
And now for something slightly different....if having a 130 baht cup of coffee at Starbucks and watching the other patrons mesmerized with their phones is not your "cup of tea", try Cafe de Palms on Beach Road (250 meters north of Pattaya Klang), next to the Twin Palms hotel entrance and adjacent to Pastry Addiction (which also looks very inviting but definitely pricey). You get a beautiful serene setting with views of the beach, plus some of the best cafe prices in town in that area. For example, large iced coffee + ham sandwich (tasted pretty good) for 110 baht. Smoothies for 75-85 baht. Cappuccino for 80 baht. It's a small place, there are only 2-3 small tables inside, but quite a few tables and chairs outside in the garden. The service was good, efficient and polite. Edited August 10, 2017 by elzach 1

opporna
250 baht for a roast chicken. The chicken had better be either really big or really good. More likely it's just another business throwing money down the drain.
Jingthing
The location of the Chinese hot pot restaurant that was only open for weeks that was previously Pars Iranian restaurant is now another Iranian restaurant. It's called Reza 2 and they're offering a buffet for 200 baht. The original Reza previously mentioned on this thread still exists. Reza 2 is on 2nd road South Pattaya a bit north of the Beverly Plaza hotel. Don't confuse it with Nayeb Iranian restaurant which is right next to that hotel. As far as I know there are now at least four Iranian buffet restaurants in town. Not too shabby!

If that's true then it will be streets ahead of most chickens available elsewhere here, as it wont be drenched in nasty sweet sauce. Properly cooked roast potatoes and veg cant be bad either. For 250B I will try one. 2

Link was given above. I dont have a Facebook account but as this place doesnt seem to have a proper website a search only produced links to FB, TripAdvisor and a few local media articles. So I was reduced to looking at the FB page for inspiration. I did find that offer on it, and a photo of their menu (which is very short). From the menu I expect that I will go for a takeaway whole chicken plus potatoes plus salad at 400B (less 10%), and that should make a meal one day and sandwiches the next day and soup the day after that. Those who want to eat in can have beer for 50B or water for 15B. Edited September 3, 2017 by KittenKong
Popular Post opporna
Anytime there's more Mexican-ish food in Pattaya, I'm excited. Well, there's a new taco place in the market in Soi Buakow, the one closer to Central Road. I haven't tried the tacos yet as I wasn't hungry when I spotted it, but it has potential. They say they make their own salsas. They have flour and corn tortillas for pork, chicken and beef tacos. I saw a couple go out of the kitchen, they looked decent. Two for 70 baht if I recall correctly. Here's the location on Google Maps Street View (taken before it existed) and a picture. goo.gl/Zn2D3g Edited September 4, 2017 by opporna
Popular Post opporna
I tried the new "Taco Taco Tex Mex" place today. The short verdict: I will be back many times--good value and taste. The long story: She has just opened and is still tweaking, so it's a work in progress. I had two pork soft flour and one pork corn hard shell taco. The meat she used was simple thin slices of pork. There was also quite a bit of cheese. Then there's pico de gallo and finally lots of hot sauce as I asked for spicy. The flavor was very nice due to her homemade salsas. It cost 105 baht. I preferred the soft tacos. The hard shell is better for me with spiced meat like at taco bell. For 105 baht for 3 tacos, I was quite happy with quality and quantity. It's not as cheap as Thai food but that's to be expected. The tacos took about 10 minutes for her to prepare as she was just getting set up. She opens perhaps 5 pm (she says she's shooting for 3 pm) and closes about 1 am or so I believe. I will be back many times--I wish she opened earlier for lunch. 2
Jingthing
It doesn't look like the actual meats are seasoned at all. Only add on flavor. She could up her game by doing that. Of course traditional Mexican tacos don't have any cheese, but with the Tex Mex sign she isn't claiming they are authentic in that way. Jingthing
Bon Chon Korean fried Chicken (good food) at Royal Garden is now closed. I saw a sign before that they were to open at Central. I wasn't sure if that meant two locations. Apparently not. The previous Royal Garden location is going to be some kind of Mediterranean / Middle East bakery/food operation. Sounds interesting. I thought it was part of a chain but there is nothing on google about it. Edited September 6, 2017 by Jingthing
