Strange, Ferguson confronts (In an aggresive manner) Ref and 4th Official in view of millions of people worldwide basicly bring the game into disrepute (and all the above two do is talk about a ref) and nothing gets done !!!!!!

Anyone care to explain this ?

Fergie spoke to mike Dean after hearing Dean's explanation fergie accepted it, Newcastle was late coming on so fergie took the chance to have a word yes he was demonstrative but he is a passion guy.

Both managers criticism of the ref's are the same as what fergie did and copped a fine and a 4 match touchline ban, hope they both get the same as what fergie got.

He didn't accept it though, he was still moaning about the decision after the game, so not only did he make a prick of himself during the game he critisized the ref after the game exactly the same as Redknapp and Mancini !!!!!

This a quote from Newcastle forum.

I think this is brilliant management by Ferguson again. His team whilst being top are playing average football and should have dropped a lot of points by now but haven't. If the press have nothing to focus on but negative performances it heaps pressure on them, this is another sideshow and diversionary tactic.

Whatever you think of him he's going down in history.

Bloody spot on hey matethumbsup.gif the mans a bloody genius clap2.gif

No mention of the three man utd training staff that were well out of tech area and aggressively barracking the visibly wilting lines man , and i could be wrong but didnt ferguson actually run on the pitch to make his point <deleted>. theres no sticking up for these sort of actions THEY ARE WRONG end of!!!! Got to hand it to fergie how the f--c he got away with it i'll never know, but makes the disciplinary system look rather pathetic and thoroughly, undermines EVERY other managerial disciplinary decision for the 4 c able future. totally totally pathetic.

So the recent episode is the 2nd time in a few months, lets hope the FA put a gagging order on him :

From the Telegraph :

He could have moaned about the weather; he could have mentioned the way his goalkeeper seems to panic when faced with a ball in the air. He could even have said: "Well, that was a good match."

Bullet-faced and furious, however, he decided not to mention any of this.

Instead he reserved his comments for the hapless assistant referee Simon Beck, whose failure to award United a “clear penalty” Ferguson blamed for the fact that they drew rather than won a crucial match.

This attack was so staggeringly self-deluding that even as a Manchester United supporter and long-term defender of our acerbic manager, I found myself staring speechless at the television.

It assumes that United would have scored any penalty given (which on Rooney’s recent form from the spot is not a done deal); it suggests, too, that Tottenham Hotspur could scrape a draw only because officialdom went their way.

It may be part and parcel of his will to win, but the sight of him haranguing referees and their assistants is deeply unattractive.

yeah see they've written to him 2 explain himself, lets hope they give him a touch line ban and maybe he'll learn to shut the fuc up, prob not but at least it wont quite feel their r 2 sets of rules, 1 4 him and one 4 everyone else.. Not to make a point of it, but it wern't just the linesman turning it down it was the ref' s call who was in almost a PERFECT position to judge, so 4 me, fergie WRONG in almost everything. but then aging gobby drunken red noses normally are.
