rebo
I heard that "Tha Nam" (in former days the nice old-style teak restaurant on the left side between Ratilanna hotel and airport highway) has recently re-opened at a new location, again somewhere at the river bank. Googled but information very confusing, some definitely wrong. Can someone pls describe where it really is? Coordinates would be most appreciated. Thanks a lot. kjhbigv
Anyone know what the prices are like? I would like to check it out, as long as not 'silly' money! Edited December 31, 2012 by kjhbigv

WinnieTheKhwai
IMHO it's pricey, but not silly money. So not a budget option.
Johpa
I haven't been there in many years as I rarely get into the city when I am in-country, but I always found the old Tha Naam to be one of the best Thai eateries in the city. The food was always very good, the staff kept the glasses filled, and the Northern Thai ambiance for a Thai style family restaurant, sitting along the river, was hard to beat. It was the place to go out to eat and drink affordably, not cheaply, with Thai friends
