Is there a problem with the site ?.It seems to take a long time before a page renders. If i click on any topic,it sometimes takes up to 5 minutes before it's rendered.I've tried it with different browsers but it's always the same.Cleared caches and all that stuff but it didn't help.Any ideas ?

Cheers

I found the same problem recently on 2 different computers.

My home page is google.

When I try and load Thai Visa web page it gets to thai visa 'static' or something like that and just hangs.

I get success then by clicking the 'Home Page' on the computer, then using the back button and then it seems to nudge the loading process and all is good.

Frustrating ... yes.

^^ static.thaivisa.com ... or something like that.

static 1.doc

Screen shot imbedded in the word doc

Just hung there for 3 mins before I gave up ...

What is your ISP?

Which DNS servers are you using?

Can you please do a traceroute to static.thaivisa.com and post the result here?

The ISP is TRUE

I asked the gf what 'DNS servers are you using' ... she replied I only know DNA ... goof.gif

BTW ... I looked the meaning of what a DNS server was ... still none the wiser.

As for 'do a traceroute to static.thaivisa.com and post the result here?' ... I amazed myslef and was able to do it ... but don't wish to publish that here.

I'll email that to support at ...

For those who wish to know what and How to Use the Traceroute Command

Traceroute
is a command which can show you the path a packet of information takes from your computer to one you specify. It will list all the routers it passes through until it reaches its destination, or fails to and is discarded. In addition to this, it will tell you how long each 'hop' from router to router takes.

A recommendation: Use a 3rd party DNS service like Google DNS or OpenDNS. Most likely to work better than TRUE's DNS.

Tried different dns settings.No improvement.
