In case anyone was wondering why I haven't posted much in recent weeks, it's because of this: SMOKE!

The view (or lack thereof) from Thaton Bridge, Chiang Mai province, at 08:39 this morning.

I am sure ir would be baby clams Jetset.... see them doing it here on Samui, every evening....or as the tide goes down, hours spent doing it too...

Ops horizon a little off!

somewhere I have pics of the small clams (AKA "Hoi"in Thai) will see if I can find!

Ah yes - "clams". Wasn't sure if it was snails or worms. They call them "shells" when speaking English, I believe.

(Have to be careful how - or when - you say "hoi" in Thai whistling.gif - context is everything! laugh.png)

I spent the later part of this afternoon, watching "hoi" pickers... but except for mother became a sand castle building competition...

" Hoi" I can't imagine what else it means other than clams, or snails... have I missed something? whistling.gif .... perhaps don't answer that....tongue.png
