I hate those kind of plugs BUT they will plug into most Thai outlets otherwise most Big C and Tesco have the adapter and cost very little

Are you sure? Last time I was at Big C they had nothing like this that fitted the speaker...

i suspect he have a blown AC adapter not looking for a multi-plug adapter

You can get a multi-voltage, multi-plug transformer in most half decent electrical shops. I have one that does everything - mobiles, laptops, speakers, shaver, torch, etc
