Cabinet allocates 20 million baht for project to hire students for part-time work

The cabinet meeting agreed to a project to hire students for part-time jobs during school breaks.

Deputy government spokesperson Chalermchai Mahakitsiri (เฉลิมชัย มหากิจศิริ) said that the cabinet has agreed to hire students who want to work part-time during school break, as suggested by the Education Ministry. He said that a budget of 200 million baht will be allocated to hire more than 100,000 students.

The students will be divided into four groups, which are poor students nationwide, registered students, high-school to university students, and unregistered students.

He said that the Education Ministry has been told to discuss details with the Government Lottery Office.
