Where To Buy Thermal Underwear In Cm?

Hello!

Local sport shops have a big variety of tents and sleeping bags. But don't sell thermal underwear. Is it available anywhere at CM?

It's not for a trekking :) It's for a seating at the computer :) Works perfect, I have a shirt + pants, but need a spare!

Try the online site eBay.co.th There's an English version of this website. Can't guarantee that you'll find what you're looking for, but try several different combinations of words and you might find long underwear.

Sorry but I don't know of any shop in town which sells what you're looking for. Most of the "sua gkan now" vendors that I've seen around town just sell outerwear such as jackets, hats and sweaters.

Wear normal underwear that's two sizes larger and stuff some sweaters in there. This will keep you warm, and the bulge will impress the ladies.

Thanks for numerous life advices! About the last one: I want hi-tech tourist underwear to avoid wearing 5 sweaters and 4 pair of pants. The same reason, why I sleep in hi-tech light and thin sleeping backpack.

Maybe look the same place you buy your tampons.

That's a bit harsh.

That's hilarious! It's not even cold this season. We've only pulled out the jackets once or twice so far this year to take a m/c ride at night. We run the A/C during the day.

I would say that your chances of finding them in Thailand are about 0%.

No, that isn't hilarious. The opinion, that's all people have same body, like you and the same house like you have - that's really hilarious. I have 20°-22° in my house for a whole day and night (it's good for a hot season, but not now), floor is very cold and I don't have body fat at all.

What's hilarious the guys who've responded to belittle you don't realize they are the examples of the reason thaivisa has a bottom of the barrel reputation for factual answers on anything but it's namesake. They don't realize every time they up their post count with such crap they're loudly proclaiming 'I don't have a life!'. But the best part is they think they're engaging in witty banter with their thaivisa mates at the expense of the OP while people who do have a life see them as losers engaged in their daily circle jerk.

Dante99, Sports World or Supersports in Kad Suan Kaew, always mixing them up. Or order at Karana's Web site (it's Thai brand). This is a model, which I use:

And that's positively rude and unnecessary.

They are sold here yes.

For a good quality set (not cheap) head to Central Kad Suan Kaew (Dept store) mens underwear section. They have Jockey brand ones there.

800 baht a piece. 1600 for the set. But you will have them for many years to come.

I don't think anyone wanted to hurt your feelings Sam, its just that a request for thermal underwear in Chiang Mai was a little bizarre - until of course, you explained your rationale. Now everything is clear. Isn't it everyone?

A track suit might do the trick and they are easily available.

There used to be some in the Export 71 (72?) shop on Huay Kaew Rd, just below the canal/Phucome Hotel junction. Used them on top of Doi Luang Chiang Dao at 4ºC once.

Looks like a sleeping bag so I guess that is what you meant when you wrote "sleeping backpack".
