^ when ever I've had strawberries at the markets here on Samui, they put salt with them

I think this is Jack Fruit, not quite ready ... I am sure someone will correct me if it's not!

^ SJ....yup...baby jackfruit they are. In Indonesia they use these in some soups at this age.

A couple of favorite spice blends! ..... I much prefer Indian / Malay over Thia spices!

I do tend to agree on the flavour component SJ.

Although I do prefer a spicy Thai , rather than a fragrant Indian .

DAL, the greens look like too much blue tint. Maybe make white balance a little warmer.

Busy with work and the holidays. I peruse TV every so often but not much changes. I like the food photography and several other topics that are non-confrontational (not that I don't like a little confrontation every now and then). Still a couple of years from making the move to Thailand, but getting closer. Take care, hopefully the government will settle itself out between now and then.
