Swift To Uk

Recommended Posts

I'd like to get a lead from someone that has transfered money from here to Uk recently. Can I transfer money from thailand to UK through my bank(SCB)? I want to tranfers about 5k pounds, never done that before, so I was just wondering, if it will be ok by the Thai system. I work here legally with the right Visa and work permit, if I may add.

Remit the funds in Baht from here - better exchange rate at the UK end.

Just call into your branch with your passport and bank book and ask to make a SWIFT transfer to your UK account.

Good to hear, I will do that tomorrow, and post the outcome here..

Hello Guys, I just got back from SCB, I went to transfer the money...it took like an hour thirty minutes> I transferred 4,315.11 Pounds @ 46.9162500, then I paid fee of 1750 baht and 224 baht comission for transfering from a different branch. they asked for copy of my passport and that was it.
