Short Circuit blamed for Jomtien Shop-house fire

PATTAYA:--Just after 6pm on Sunday Pattaya Firefighters were called to deal with a fire on the second floor of a 3-storey shop-house at the corner of Soi Watboon and the Sukhumvit Road in Jomtien.

newjsOn the ground floor of the building was an insect repellant and industrial cleaning supplier and there was a concern that the fire had spread to the ground floor and could have led to a chemical incident.

After 30 minutes the fire was extinguished as the owner of the building
