Gudang Garam - Indonesian Cigarettes In Phuket?

Hoping some fellow Phuket members might be able to help me here.

Looking to find a shop which sells Gudang Garam cigarettes locally. They are Indonesian imports.

I know they are available - I had a minivan driver last month who had them, and he said he got them near the Surin turn off, but I couldn't get any details. He also said they might be available in Phuket Town.

Please post if you can assist, cheers

You might try the cigar and tobacco shop located in Fisherman Way off Viset road (Chalong to Rawai), just past the Tesco Lotus.

By the way, pussies smoke Gudang Garam. Real men smoke Dji Sam Soe.

They had a flavored butt if I remember correctly.

Fisherman's way cigar shop is probably your best bet.

Have never seen them in Phuket but have in Bangkok occasionally

Thanks for the advice - I went to the Cigar shop at Fishermen bend this morning - but they don't stock them.

Another forum said something about a market at Loma Beach - but I can't quite work out where they mean.

...and I wasn't able to travel to Phnom Penh - funny enough it is not located in Phuket (unlike the thread title)

Unfortunately I didn't spot any Sampoernas. The hunt for clove cigarettes is an ongoing mission.....

Yes, there is/was a sign for a hotel next to it......Can't remember name, but it was blue with a dolphin on it. Had cigars too.

I'd also be interested in finding these in Phuket.

I found some down at the ferry port at Pak Barra on the way to Koh Lipe, but have not had any luck finding these around Phuket.

Try this website as they do have a range of Indonesian cigs.

Took about one week to arrive, however one has to now go through a rather convoluted payment system, but if you are familiar with Western Union then no probs.
